Shared Blessings Global Outreach Foundation, Inc. (SBGOF) was founded by a husband and wife team. The founder has a history of charitable practice through his years of serving in the dental department on Mercy Ships, West Africa. His long term-goal of charity work, love and compassion for people and sympathetic nature resulted in his drive to become a Dental Surgeon. He is qualified and licensed in the European Union and Sierra Leone, West Africa. The co-founder is a highly capable person with several years of experience as Consultant in various capacities such as Healthcare Administration, Compliance Audit, Recruitment, Human Resources and General Administration. Other team and board members reside in the North America, Europe and Africa. They are from diverse professional backgrounds with a common goal to serve humanity. The Shared Blessings Global Outreach Foundation team are very passionate about making a difference one person, community or organization at a time.
Shared Blessings Global Outreach Foundation, Inc. is a registered 501 (c) 3 Christian based charity organization that is functioning in the United States and Sierra Leone. It is run by an independent Board of Trustees to provide charitable services and support for the benefit of persons resident in Sierra Leone, West Africa. Long-term goals are in place to serve other countries on the African Continent. This initiative would not be possible without the amazing support of our donors. The foundation is primarily funded by donations from shareholders and other private entities. The idea of setting up Shared Blessings Global Outreach Foundation, Inc. was conceived out of the need to give back to our various communities. SBGOF team members are professionals who are committed to support our outreach ministry by donating their time, intellect, funds and other resources to enhance the lives others. Based on the premise that "to whom much is given, much is expected", we have decided to share our time and individual talent to bless others.
The primary goal of the foundation is to provide free health services, education and screenings in different communities. We provide care and support to children with disabilities, an often forgotten part of our African community by creating wellness programs and other ways to foster inclusion. SBGOF also promotes outreach ministry, women/girls empowerment, mentoring, education and social support to individuals or communities in need. Our team fosters education by sponsoring our partner schools in underserved communities, our volunteers set up training programs that empower women to be self-reliant and achieve their dreams and mentor young leaders so that they in turn will pay it forward in the future. Our projects are currently Sierra Lone based however, long term-goals are in place to serve other African nations and communities.
